Celebrated author Louisa May Alcott, as portrayed by actress Leslie Goddard, shares stories about the creation of "Little Women."
Miss Alcott will also reminisce about her life, including her poverty-stricken childhood and her struggles to succeed as a writer. This event is presented in association with the Warrenville Historical Society. Refresments will be served prior to the program at 6:30 pm.

WPLD members and guests have access to many amenities: Study and Meeting Rooms, Quiet Room with fireplace, casual seating areas, Discovery Room for children, Teen Lounge, cold beverage vending café, free wifi and computers.
The library is located in the heart of Warrenville’s civic center near the intersection of Batavia and Butterfield Roads. Additional parking and a second entrance are available off of Mount St. and Manning Avenue.
