Phil Passen plays the hammered dulcimer, a stringed instrument in the percussion family often used to play global folk music, sings songs and shares history from Sandburg’s book. Sandburg, an avid collector of folk songs from all over the United States, performed songs at his poetry readings while accompanying himself on the guitar.
This event will be held online using Zoom. To participate, all you need is a device (desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone) with a camera, microphone and an internet connection. Or, if you don't have a device, you can call into the event with your phone.

The library is located in the heart of Warrenville’s civic center near the intersection of Batavia and Butterfield Roads. Additional parking and a second entrance are available off of Mount St. and Manning Avenue.
